I actually modded an identical unit, the CR85, except mine has an umbrella spindle BSR C-185 changer, facelifted to resemble the C-129R2 deck (which yours is). I also retrofitted a preamp, and swapped amps with one from a keepsake, and its paired to a Shure M93 E.cartridge. Best part is, I have both the LP and 45 stacking spindles, the single play spindle, and the 45rpm puck, and I don't have to worry about an overarm!

These record players seize up stop spinning or the speakers don’t work on vintage ones I’m lucky enough to have a fidelity music master ua2 a Ferguson 3026 and a zenith stereophonic record player which are working and speakers seem to be working too 😀

О да! Трубка ещё не покрыта акводагом полностью, с изменением яркости если сильно добавить ухудшается фокусировка, линии обратного хода, как это всё знакомо)). А какое шасси классное! Эх, сейчас одни пластиковые пузатые преобладают на помойке.

Aye 50 years old that record player! British and still works! Modern equivalents 50 days if your lucky! Aye American innards and cabinet Crosley badge , but British record player, the Two countries making a great job! Nowadays cheap rubbish made crap!

I got a brand new one of these in the 1970s.i only lasted 8 months then the clutch string broke.i even took my dad with me to the shop when I went a second time because the manager told me it couldn't be repaired because it was an import that normally wouldn't have been imported.what's that supposed to mean you tubers?my dad had a chat with the manager and asked why,why,why,why do you sell something that can't be repaired.the end result was no repair and no money back.£168 down the drain.i repaired the clutch but no matter how careful i was when adjusting the screw in one direction the take up spool wouldn't wind fast enough and in the other direction the spool pulled that hard that it slowed the capstain down.i took it to an expert grundig dealer in leeds as I thought the string may be made of a special material and also he would know if anything else was wrong with the clutch as a whole.it made no difference though so kept if for a while putting up with it's faults but when the heads started wearing so very little recorded sound could be heard I binned it with disgust.give me vortexion,clarke and smith and brenell any time.

This is the SAME turntable as my late 60's/early 70's BSR in a Panasonic stereo...

when i was growing up we had a stereo with the same platter and mechanics, i think it was a realistic or silvertone.

This Is a genuine BSR made in England record changer. The stack o matic has the speed control at bottom left and the whole thing is plastic. The only thing that doesn't seem right to my eye is the pick-up arm. It looks like it came from the stack o matic.

Изначально только нагревались лампы и все, звука и изображения не было. Ремонт заключался в замене ламп строчной развертки - появился растр. Восстановление обрывов в катушках радиоканала - появился звук. Ремонт видеоусилителя - появилось изображение. По это ссылке в описании можно увидеть окончание ремонта.
